I have had at least several times in my life people disappearing from my circle of friends withought ever explaining the reason. If you ever experienced it, you know its enough to keep you paranoid. You keep guessing and boiling it in your mind "What the hell did go wrong?" and "Why didn't you tell me?" or "Why didn't you show it or give some sort of sign?".
I guess i'm talking about straight forwardedness, which I found, many people do not consider an essential trait. And that really bugs me! 
I should mention, probably, that in couple of cases these people turned out to be freaky or psycho in one aspect or another (as I later found out from other friends who were treated the same way). With the others, there's no way to find out, cause they are gone 
So, please people, try to be open in telling others what you think is wrong....
and this is my vent for today.

i always wonder, am i supposed to be the one who calls them, or am I supposed to wait for them to call me. pisses me off really. i mean, whose responsibility is it to maintain the communication? both? with some friends it feels like it's always me calling them...

Don't really see any problems with it. If you feel like calling them -- go ahead and do that! If you don't really think about them and don't miss them and are thinking "may be I should call them ... why aren't they calling me ... " and all that -- just forget about it!Â
Stop playing games, just be yourself and your life will become SO much easier. I've tried -- it works really well for me.
