Freedom doesn't come cheap: On Net Neutrality

This atricle in ComputerWorld just illustrates that there is not such thing as free pie. If you want fast and truly free internet (i.e. the tubes) someone has to step in. Maybe the U.S governemt can step in with a special "internet tax"? Or, I have a better idea, how about taking a tiny slice out of $1000000000000+ Iraq war money and paying for the fiberoptic infrastructure. read more »

There are a few famous ones, like Twit (these guys have at least interesting panels), CNet news and buzz-out-loud (cnet.com) and others. What struck me recently that the host don't really prepare the cast. They just read the news in real-time and start discussing them right away before even finishing reading into the story. Imho, this is some low quality crappy net-casting!  read more »

It's official, they confirmed it in their blog. Let me see, what could possibly ebay want from this service? Ah, yes! sell freaking ads to their huge audience!!! What else? That is why we need open source, people. If they sell of, we create a clone (it's open source, so is free to copy) and everyone just migrates, i.e. moves their profiles there! read more »
