Microsoft is buying Yahoo, OMG!

Recent news reports have stated that a catastrophy is inevitable. The Redmond giant is about to devour a not-so-small fish named Yahoo. Despite a couple of initial rejections from Jerry Yang, Microsoft seems to be determined. Now, let us pause for a second to ask this question: Why should you care?

Personally, I don't use any Yahoo products, save an occasinal visit to Flickr, which, in turn, was devoured by Yahoo. I do use Windows XP and MS Office, but that is irrelevant.

Hipocritical cooking show hosts!

 Many a time I have watched or listened to cookings shows of various flavors. And every time there is some celebrity chef concocting "something special". From then on the dialog unwinds like this: - Host: Ummm... can I taste this - Chef: Sure, you're welcome to - H: Wow! That is so delicious (chewing loudly into the friggin microphone!) What, anything they ever cooked on these shows was DELICIOUS???!  It is time to stop paying your cable company for a load of useless channels your never watch! Here is a list of 100 places to watch free movies, funny clips, music videos and other stuff online.  I just found out that: In the 1980s the United States was convicted by the International Court of Justice (World Court) for 'unlawful use of force', killing Nicaraguans for political purposes and supporting a proxy-terrorist force, the Contras.[6] This made it the first and only state in history to be convicted of state-sponsored international terrorism by the World Court.  read more »

Missing page numbers in magazines!!!

How many times it happened to you: you open your favorite magazine to read a cover story on page 112 only to find that it's not there! Not the story, the page! Half of them are occupied by ads, and some smart-ass in their marketing department has decided it would be a neat idea not to number them. This way people will see more ads, while searching for the story! Makes me so mad read more »
