Here are some cons: - Uses much more system resources, all for the better looks (more RAM, CPU and graphical card cycles). Task manager shortcut in XP

Now I added another user and instead of the list of tasks I get this window with lock, switch user and task manager. That is annoying! Now I found the solution: Ctrl+Shift+Esc takes you to task manager directly. Huh! I beat you Windows XP! read more »
Windows XP boot - a dark zone

I would normally have it on at all times as it serves as my file server and my answering machine and my email/IM center, etc. But every once in a while I had to reboot to get the updates through or to install some new hardware. The freaky thing was that I had to press ESC or space or some other key, during the boot or else it would freeze. Undead "My pictures" folder in Windows XP
