 I just found out that: In the 1980s the United States was convicted by the International Court of Justice (World Court) for 'unlawful use of force', killing Nicaraguans for political purposes and supporting a proxy-terrorist force, the Contras.[6] This made it the first and only state in history to be convicted of state-sponsored international terrorism by the World Court.  read more »
