So many blog posts popping up, giving people advice on how to better their own blog or a website. Makes me wonder if the ones sparing great advice are not just using it to attract more traffic to their own "creations". Why else would they want to share a secret that is creating huge audiences for them and makes tons of money? Giving back to the community, maybe. It is just that most of the time the advice the disseminate as "great" is outright trivial and reminds me of those financial pyramid schemes: you build up a hierarchy of newbies who will drool at your wisdom, meanwhile collecting free hits. read more »

They usually go like this "I'm only writing about the products that I really like anyway, so why not make some money on the side?". WRONG! This is the very start of corporate whorism! At first you may be doing just that, but then what if you are some $100 short for a new IPod (or your family's Hawaii vacation)??? Yes, you will bend the rules a little and start writing about a not so perfect product! read more »
