Noone knows important facts about USA

I just found out that:

In the 1980s the United States was convicted by the International Court of Justice (World Court) for 'unlawful use of force', killing Nicaraguans for political purposes and supporting a proxy-terrorist force, the Contras.[6] This made it the first and only state in history to be convicted of state-sponsored international terrorism by the World Court. In April 1985 CIA Director Stansfield Turner testified to the US Congress in confirmation Nicaragua was being subjected to US “state-sponsored terrorism”, during the Iran-Contra hearings. The US then vetoed UN Security Council resolutions calling it to terminate its terrorist war and that all states observe international law.

Is it just me? See the Wikipedia article : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State-sponsored_terrorism#United_States_of_America

Why is it that in a world

Why is it that in a world with the safest and fastest cars and motorbikes we have speed limits that are lower than ever before? It's a case of safety measures being taken too far, it lulls us into a false sense of security - All these devices that are designed to protect us just give people the notion that they have some sort of buffer zone in which they can behave irresponsibly.

Everyone who wants to drive a car on the road should first learn to ride a motorbike because when your own life totally depends on you making the right driving decisions 100% of the time you tend to pay more attention.

People are so paranoid that they will get busted exceeding some stupidly low speed limit in their SUV's that never see a dirt road that they end up parking on top of some unfortunate kid on his way home from school that crossed the road in a 40 km/h zone designed supposedly to protect him.

If the government was really motivated in protecting its citizens alcohol wouldn't be legal, these speed limits are just an annoying revenue raising exercise that takes up valuable police time, and I haven't even begun to vent about another scourge of the road: the speedbump..
