Interacting with narrow-minded people can be exhausting. They don't know much and they don't want to know yet they're so stubborn in their opinions! You tell them about your plans and if they think you shouldn't do it, they'll keep saying "No, you can't do that". Why? It's no good. But why? I don't know, it's just no good. Or ... nobody does that.

This is all they can say. If you ask them to elaborate, they become defensive and say "What? I can't have my own opinion?" You can have your darned opinion. But did it EVER come to your mind that your beliefs you hold on to so dearly have no ground? No, never. And I have to deal with you. I can't avoid such people and I don't know how to interact with them, which really gets on my nerves.
