I want to change my last name!

I like my last name -- it is beautiful, bold and has a meaning for me.
BUT!!!! I want to change it!
Ever since I moved from my home country I have not heard my last name pronounced right. It is very annoying, especially when the offender really butchers it ;(
My last name happens to be long, and filling in circles during test is a pain. But what really got me serious about changing mu name was a voice box infection. I was calling for a doctor’s appointment and almost could not talk—imagine spelling your loooooooong foreign last name to an unsuspecting local! I could not handle it and just had to hang up and drive over to the doc’s.
So, anyhow, it is settled I am getting a short, easy last name!

Your last name was given to you for a reason, and it is not in your moral right to change it.
I think everyone has a right
I think everyone has a right to choose their destiny and their last name. Nothing is set in stone, so there is really no point in suffering because of those few letters that follow your name.
