Freedom doesn't come cheap: On Net Neutrality

This atricle in ComputerWorld just illustrates that there is not such thing as free pie. If you want fast and truly free internet (i.e. the tubes) someone has to step in. Maybe the U.S governemt can step in with a special "internet tax"? Or, I have a better idea, how about taking a tiny slice out of $1000000000000+ Iraq war money and paying for the fiberoptic infrastructure.

Don't you think this will be a better way of guaranteeing democratic freedoms for our future generations?
