I am listening to a lot of technology podcasts lately that I get via Google Reader. There are a few famous ones, like Twit (these guys have at least interesting panels), CNet news and buzz-out-loud (cnet.com) and others. What struck me recently that the host don't really prepare the cast. They just read the news in real-time and start discussing them right away before even finishing reading into the story.
Imho, this is some low quality crappy net-casting! What are they getting paid for? For being more or less up to data with recent tech and gadgetry developments? Sadly, sometimes even this is not the case.
Anyway, I am switching towards higher quality and more in-depth podcast like the ones provided by NPR. Hope more people do the same, then the CNet clowns will have to prepare their stuff before going on the air!
