Don't really see any problems with it. If you feel like calling them -- go ahead and do that!  If you don't really think about them and don't miss them and are  thinking  "may be I should call them ... why aren't they calling me ... " and all that -- just forget about it! 

Stop playing games, just be yourself and your life will become SO much easier. I've tried -- it works really well for me.
