I am starting to think that the organic or "healthy" (read "hippie" ) way of live is our new wave of consumerism that will soon devour us all. Like this website proclaiming aspartame to be nothing less than "the evil of 20th century" and, of course, behind it - the modern "drug lords" i.e. pharmaceutical companies. Ni-i-i-ice! although didn't see much evidence there.... just some slogans.
But who is behind the website? Oh!... it's Ms. Mary Nash Stoddard - the founder of the burgeoning international anti-aspartame movement! And for US $5 and a self-addressed, stamped envelope, Ms. Stoddard will provide a copy of the aspartame newsletter
A comprehensive guide is $25 ($35 outside US).
Nicely done Ms. Stoddard! Going to the main page of the website, you will find an ad selling a 10.5oz can of.... barley! for only $30, nice!
How about wheat, can I get it for maybe $24.99/10oz on sale?
Look, all I am saying is : stay aware of "big corporations' " wrong doings, but don't buy into anti-corporate hippie wave! It is just another scheme to get your $$$!
